CSR PT Matahari Department Store – Renovation of SDN Tegal 04 Library, Bogor Regency

PT Matahari Department Store Tbk, in collaboration with the GNOTA Foundation, has contributed to the renovation of the library building at SDN Tegal 04, Bogor Regency, West Java Province. The renovation works included improvements to the flooring, ceiling, doors, windows, and repainting of the library building.

On December 13, 2024, PT Matahari Department Store Tbk held a symbolic ceremony at SDN Tegal 04, attended by Mr. Achmad Fajar Nugroho, Store Manager of Matahari Cibinong. During the event, he expressed appreciation for the collaboration with the GNOTA Foundation and the school in achieving the development goals of PT Matahari Department Store’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. He emphasized that this literacy-focused CSR program aims to benefit SDN Tegal 04. As books are often referred to as the “windows to the world,” it is hoped that the renovated library will be highly beneficial for the foster children and serve as a medium for teaching and learning activities.

Mr. Ugan Sugandi, the Principal, along with the students of SDN Tegal 04, appreciate the support provided by PT. Matahari Department Store, as this support is highly beneficial in creating a safe and comfortable space for children to read books.
